I was proud to be part of the launch of Amazon’s new live music series produced through Contrast TV, serving as the primary Steadicam operator for live, one-take performances featuring major recording artists. These shoots demanded precision, timing, and adaptability — blending choreography, lighting cues, and camera movement to capture the energy of a live performance with cinematic depth. Working closely with producers and directors, I collaborated to design and execute complex Steadicam movements that enhanced the emotional rhythm of each song. As the sole camera operator on many shoots, I was trusted to balance technical execution with creative interpretation, ensuring that every performance felt authentic, dynamic, and aligned with Amazon’s visual storytelling standards.

Since the opening of Vevo’s Los Angeles studio, I’ve worked as one of the primary camera operators for their live performance series — highly choreographed one-take shoots featuring top artists and musicians. Each performance is executed live, with intricate lighting cues and precise camera movement that require a balance of technical accuracy and creative instinct. Though I take direction from producers and directors, I’m relied upon to exercise creative freedom and real-time decision-making to capture authentic energy and emotion throughout the performance. I’ve filmed over 100 live sessions, contributing to videos that have collectively accumulated more than 150 million views while maintaining Vevo’s signature cinematic style and quality.
