I will create custom database synchronization scripts using robust bash commands

Informazioni su questo servizio
Need a dependable way to move or synchronize database data without repeating manual commands? I create custom Bash scripts for reliable, repeatable database workflows built around your environment.
What I can automate:
- Database exports, imports, and one-way synchronization
- PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and SQLite workflows where supported CLI tools are available
- Remote transfers over SSH and scheduled jobs
- Backup rotation, retention cleanup, and routine maintenance tasks
Built for reliability: Depending on your workflow, scripts can include input checks, safe shell quoting, clear logs, meaningful exit codes, error handling, retries, lock files, and validation steps. I can also provide cron setup instructions, commented source code, and a practical usage guide.
Credentials will not be hard-coded into scripts. We can use an appropriate local configuration or secret-management method.
Before ordering, please share your source and target databases, operating system, intended sync direction, schedule, approximate data size, and any schema requirements.
Important: Scheduled Bash synchronization is not the same as continuous or bidirectional replication. Complex replication, zero-downtime

FAQ
Q: Which database systems do you support?
I can work with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and SQLite when the required command-line tools are available. Please contact me about other database systems before ordering.
Q: Can you build real-time or bidirectional synchronization?
These workflows require additional design and testing beyond a standard Bash sync script. I will review the databases, consistency requirements, and native replication options before quoting.
Q: Will you configure the script to run automatically?
The packages cover scheduling instructions according to their scope. Custom cron or server-side setup can be quoted separately if installation or configuration work is needed.
Q: Can you synchronize two different database types?
Potentially, but schema differences, data types, transformations, and destination constraints must be reviewed first. Cross-engine migration is not automatically included.
Q: Will you test the script on my production database?
Testing should begin with a staging environment or safe test dataset whenever possible. Destructive operations, overwrites, or production changes require explicit approval and a suitable backup or rollback plan.
