Yes. Your application must already run correctly outside Docker. This Gig covers containerization and Docker-related configuration, not application development or code debugging.
Which applications do you support?
This Gig is intended for working Python and FastAPI applications. Please contact me before ordering so I can review your project structure and confirm compatibility.
How will you test the Docker setup?
I will build the Docker image, start the container or Docker Compose environment, check its status and logs, and verify that the application starts correctly.
Can you include PostgreSQL or Redis?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages can include an existing PostgreSQL or Redis service with environment configuration, networking, and persistent storage.
Can you fix Docker or Docker Compose errors?
I can fix Docker-related configuration, build, networking, port, dependency, and startup issues within the selected package. Bugs in the application code are not included.
Is deployment to AWS, a VPS, or Kubernetes included?
No. This Gig focuses on creating and testing the Docker environment. Cloud deployment, VPS configuration, Kubernetes, and CI/CD are not included.
Will you provide documentation?
Yes. You will receive clear instructions explaining how to build, start, stop, and rebuild the delivered Docker environment.
