Sinan Şimşek has been performing the baglama since 1998, and focuses on the traditions of zeybek, abdal and minstrels. He has been involved in various concerts and CD works. He contributed to the workshop/CD work "Seeing, Hearing, Living with the Masters" carried out within the scope of the GENÇDES project organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey, with the performance of Bağlama. Şimşek's performance of Bağlama was deemed worthy of an award in the Musicians Performance Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey. He gives Bağlama lessons.
