I will record creative lofi drums for your music project

As a freelancing musician of 18 years, I will record professional, creative and quality acoustic lo-fi drums for your music projects! Regardless of genre or style, I will provide some original and eclectic drumming for whatever your music desires.

Stylistically, I am fluent in: improvisation, jazz, hip-hop, fusion, funk, blues, rock, experimental, pop, etc.

In my DIY studio, I currently play on the Yin/Yang- a Mapex Mars crossover drum set, crafted from birch. Armored with a Nightwood finish; suited with Remo Coated Emperors on top and Remo Coated Diplomats on bottom. Cymbal arsenal consists of the darker sonics- Saluda Ambiance 14" hi-hats, 18" crash, 21" and 22" rides; Bosphorus 20" Master Vintage Ride; Koide 19" medium-brilliant crash-ride.

I record lo-fi live, using different combinations of small/large-diaphragm condensers (currently using a pair of Rode M5 and an AKG P220), and dynamic (Shure SM57) microphones, depending on the context and style of the music.

I record through my Behringer X1222 mixer with a built-in EQ, and send a mono or stereo file with a light mix through my DAW, whichever you prefer. I'm very open with my communication and work.
