You need data out of an API and into something useful a CSV, a database, a dashboard,
another service. I'll write the Python that does it.
WHAT I BUILD
- Scripts that call a REST API, handle pagination, and pull complete datasets
- Authentication handling (API keys, OAuth, bearer tokens, session cookies)
- Rate-limit handling and retry logic so your script doesn't die halfway through
- Caching so you're not making the same expensive call twice
- Clean output: CSV, JSON, SQLite, or PostgreSQL your choice
- Scheduled runs (cron or a background worker) if you need it running on its own
WHY THIS ISN'T JUST requests.get()
Real API work breaks on the boring parts: the endpoint that paginates differently, the
rate limit that isn't documented, the token that expires mid-run, the response that's
missing a field one time in fifty. I write for those cases because I've hit them.
RECENT WORK
I built a tracker integrating two separate third-party APIs with a caching layer and
regional leaderboards, and a live dashboard that refreshes account data through background
workers without hitting rate limit.

What if the API has no documentation?
Send me whatever exists plus a sample response. I can usually work from that. If it's genuinely undocumented and unstable, I'll say so before you order.
Can you scrape a website that has no API?
Sometimes — depends on the site and its terms of service. Message me first. I don't take jobs that violate a site's terms or scrape personal data.
Will it keep working?
As long as the API doesn't change. If it does within 14 days on a Premium order, I'll fix it free.
Do I need to give you my API key?
For testing, usually yes. Use a restricted or test key if your provider supports it, and rotate it after delivery — that's good practice with any developer.
