Led advanced feed optimization and rule engineering inside Channable for a European ecommerce retailer exporting a very large catalog to the Decathlon marketplace. This phase of the project focused on resolving complex validation errors across a 14,000+ product catalog sourced from PrestaShop. I worked category-by-category to design scalable Channable rules that automatically assign correct values for product nature, sport type, brand, gender, apparel and footwear sizes, and multiple CPN size attributes required by Decathlon. Key responsibilities included analyzing error reports, reducing high-volume feed errors through structured rule logic, and increasing the number of live listings by systematically fixing category-specific issues rather than manual, product-by-product edits. I also handled multilingual feed challenges (EN, FR, DE) by restructuring imports and mapping attributes correctly to ensure titles and descriptions displayed as required. Throughout the engagement, I prepared detailed Excel reports to track resolved and pending issues, identified missing or incorrect source data that needed updates at the PrestaShop level, and coordinated next steps to keep the feed stable and scalable. By the end of this phase, thousands of products had been corrected through automated rules, live listings increased significantly, and the Channable setup was structured to support long-term maintenance and additional marketplace expansion.

Google Merchant Center & Channable Feed Optimization for EU Ecommerce Brand

Worked with a European ecommerce brand on advanced product feed optimization using Channable, Google Merchant Center, and Google Ads. The project involved auditing and fixing Merchant Center disapprovals, resolving feed quality issues, and restructuring product data to align with Google Shopping best practices. I optimized titles, descriptions, product types, availability rules, pricing logic (regular price vs sale price), and custom labels to improve feed quality and campaign readiness. I handled complex setups including variant-level product handling (EAN/GTIN-based IDs), correct stock status synchronization, sale price annotations, and ensuring consistent data flow from Shopify and WooCommerce into Channable and Google Merchant Center. I also resolved technical issues such as duplicate items, failed feeds, incorrect product IDs, and mismatched availability states. Additionally, I prepared the feed structure for multi-channel expansion (Google Shopping, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest), implemented scalable rules for long-term maintenance, and supported the transition from staging to live environments without disrupting active listings. By the end of the engagement, all products were successfully approved in Google Merchant Center, feeds were stable, and the account was fully structured for ongoing performance optimization and future scaling.

FTP Access Setup & Product Feed Retrieval for Shopify Import

Assisted a US-based ecommerce store with FTP access setup and product feed retrieval to support a large Shopify catalog import. The client’s web designer was experiencing issues accessing the FTP server required to download the complete product data. I worked directly with the designer to troubleshoot FTP login issues, verify credentials, and successfully access the server using standard FTP tools. Once access was confirmed, I downloaded the full product feed files, validated their integrity, and shared them with the client along with a screen recording of the process to ensure transparency and repeatability. This enabled the client’s team to proceed with preparing and importing the product data into Shopify without further technical blockers. The task was completed within a short timeframe and helped unblock the overall Shopify migration workflow.
