Hi! I’m Abdul Mateen, an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NUST and 3+ years of professional experience in industrial electrical design and engineering. I have worked with DESCON Engineering on oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial projects, where I was involved in FEED, detailed engineering, EPC support, and proposal engineering. My experience includes: • Electrical load calculations and equipment sizing • Cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) • Cable schedules and MTOs • Lighting design and DIALux EVO calculations • Earthing and lightning protection design • Panel board schedules • Hazardous area electrical design • Electrical layouts and AutoCAD drafting • Technical documentation and engineering calculations • IEC, BS, IEEE and industry-specific engineering standards I have also worked on projects associated with major industrial and petrochemical clients, giving me practical exposure to professional engineering standards and real-world project requirements.
