I'm Abhishek Kumar, a fourth-year B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering student at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. My work life has run on two tracks that turned out to complement each other more than I expected — one week I'm debugging a Verilog testbench, the next I'm laying out a poster for an IEEE event. Engineering trained me to think in structure and logic; design trained me to think in hierarchy and visual clarity, and the two have sharpened each other over time. Design has been the more consistent thread since 2023. I've been the graphic designer for IEEE Communication Society, AKGEC, where I own the full visual identity for events like VORTEX 2025 — including pitching two different creative directions for the same brief — plus the MATLAB Workshop and Expert Talk series, usually turning a brief into a final print-ready file within a week. Outside college, I've done freelance design work for other clients and student clubs, handling everything from concept to client communication to final delivery on my own. I also recently wrapped a Design Internship at Agnirva, an ISRO-registered platform under AICTE NEAT 5.0, focused on design communication, stakeholder mapping, and visual storytelling for Space and AI campaigns.
