Businesses come to me when they have a PrestaShop store to launch but are unsure how to install the platform, configure the environment, or turn a purchased theme into a properly functioning storefront. Store owners often contact me when they need to move their PrestaShop website to a new hosting provider, server, domain or staging environment without losing important ecommerce data. A migration involves much more than copying website files because databases, configuration, URLs, modules, themes, media and server settings all need to work together afterward. I handle PrestaShop migrations, transfers and store cloning with attention to products, categories, customers, orders, images, database records and existing functionality. I also investigate problems such as missing media, broken links, incorrect URLs, database connection errors, DNS or SSL issues and functionality that stops working after a move. When the destination environment differs from the old server, I review relevant PHP, database and hosting requirements and test the migrated store rather than assuming that a successful file transfer means the job is complete. The goal is a properly transferred PrestaShop store with its important data and ecommerce functionality preserved and verified before the old environment is abandoned.

When a PrestaShop store suddenly stops working, the visible error is not always the real cause. Store owners may encounter 500 errors, blank pages, broken checkout, failed payments, module conflicts, PHP errors, database problems or back-office issues without knowing where to begin. I troubleshoot PrestaShop problems by investigating the underlying cause across modules, themes, PHP, Symfony, Smarty, SQL, database configuration, custom code and server settings. I work on issues affecting products, catalogs, variations, carts, orders, shipping, payments, emails, forms and other ecommerce functionality. I also handle problems that appear after installing a module, changing a theme, modifying PHP or completing a PrestaShop update. Instead of treating every symptom as an isolated problem, I look at what changed and how the affected components interact. The goal is to restore the affected functionality and give store owners a clearer understanding of what caused the problem, so they are not left repeatedly applying temporary fixes to the same store.
