Dispatch operations were chaotic, drivers called in with delays, breakdowns, and updates, but nothing was structured or tracked properly. I built a Vapi AI voice agent integrated with n8n to handle inbound driver calls, capture load statuses, and trigger automated updates and alerts across the system. There was one early test where multiple scenarios hit at once, delays, reschedules, even a rejection and the system handled it without collapsing. In most cases, it reduced manual coordination time by 18+ hours weekly while improving response speed and giving dispatch full visibility into operations without constant calls.
