Software developer working on an online travel agency platform - flight and travel booking systems used by real customers every day. My work covers the full commerce stack: booking and reservation flows, payment gateway integration, pricing and availability logic, refunds and cancellations, customer accounts, and integration with third-party supplier APIs. Built with PHP and Laravel, with Vue and Livewire on the front end, and MySQL behind it. Travel commerce is unforgiving - prices and availability change constantly, payments must reconcile exactly, and a failed booking is a lost customer. That experience carries directly into the eCommerce work I do for clients: the same problems of inventory, checkout, payments and refunds, at a higher level of difficulty.

Freelance WooCommerce and WordPress Developer

Self-Employed / Freelancer • Lavoratore autonomo

Dec 2015 - Present • 10 yrs 10 mos

Building WooCommerce stores and multivendor marketplaces for clients worldwide, mostly on premium themes such as Martfury, Flatsome and WoodMart. Typical work: full theme setup and customization, product and category structure, payment gateway integration, shipping and tax configuration, speed optimization and on-page SEO. For marketplaces, vendor registration, vendor dashboards, commission rules and payout handling. Alongside WordPress I work as a full-stack PHP developer using Laravel, Vue and Livewire, which lets me build custom functionality when an off-the-shelf plugin cannot do the job. Clients range from small startups launching a first store to established businesses moving from single-vendor to a marketplace model.
