Do you feel like you don't have what it takes to do the things you really want to do? I've been there. Hell, I'm still there at times. Frankly, it's something I fight with every day, but it's much easier to do so after everything I've learned so far in life. My role was to facilitate groups for individuals in substance abuse and mental health recovery on topics like mental health and wellbeing, self-esteem, strengthening relapse prevention, and more. Within these groups I held discussions surrounding the topics and created a safe space which allowed clients the space to share personal experiences and provided the opportunity for them to look inward and identify where change is necessary within their lives.
