Sound & Script Studio is my independent creative studio, through which I work professionally across voice acting, audio production, writing, and digital content creation. My work includes recording and delivering broadcast-ready voiceovers for commercials, explainer videos, e-learning, online content, and character-based projects. I manage projects end-to-end, from client communication and script review through to recording, editing, and final audio delivery, working to deadlines and usage requirements. I also handle pricing, usage rights, client expectations, and repeat business relationships, ensuring projects are delivered clearly, professionally, and with minimal revision cycles. I work as a frontline Paramedic within an ambulance service, providing urgent and emergency care across a wide range of medical, trauma, and mental health presentations. The role requires rapid clinical assessment, autonomous decision-making, and the ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure, unpredictable environments. A core part of my role is adapting communication style and tone to suit each situation. This includes delivering reassurance and calm to anxious patients, clear and authoritative direction during emergencies, and sensitive, measured communication in distressing or emotionally complex scenarios. The ability to adjust tone, pacing, and delivery in real time is essential to achieving safe and effective outcomes. I am responsible for assessing patients, initiating treatment, and determining appropriate care pathways, including on-scene management, referral to community services, or escalation to hospital care. This involves balancing clinical judgement with risk management, safeguarding considerations, and patient-centred communication. I work closely with other emergency services, hospital teams, and community healthcare providers, often acting as the primary decision-maker at scene. Clear communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical governance and professional standards are essential. This experience directly supports my work as a voice actor, particularly in delivering controlled, authentic tone across different contexts. Years of communicating under pressure have strengthened my ability to remain vocally consistent, responsive to direction, and emotionally accurate, whether conveying calm authority, reassurance, urgency, or clarity. Working as a paramedic has developed resilience, adaptability, and professional judgement, all of which translate directly into reliable, high-quality performance in time-sensitive and client-facing creative work.
