Hi, I'm a gratuated experienced Game Designer and I really love to make board games ❤
Note: This gig does NOT provide physical copy of your concept. There isn't any type of art included, just example images to explain the rules if necessary.
Here is how it works:
1. You send me the guidelines and/or theme of the board game you want;
2. I will make a brainstorm and present you to 2 possibilities of concepts (3 if standard or premium pack) and you choose which direction you want your game to go;
3. Make a game concept, test it just a little bit to ensure that the mechanic isn't broken and them, describe the concept in an one sheet paper (which includes the general idea of the game: Summary, # players, Objectives, Main mechanics)
4. If you purchase the standard or premium pack, I will make prototypes, playtest and balance it as much as necessary until I can ensure it is balanced and fun to play.
5. Write ALL the rules and list of components. (The max number of pages is the limit, which means Standard (5 pages) is a less complex game than Premium (10 pages))
6. Premium pack, also includes a Print & Play version of the game prototype for you to Start playing right away!

Hi! I'm from Brazil, working with game related stuff since 2014. Not so much fan of coding, but love the design and art aspect of making a game.
I love to learn new things and new experiences, one of the reasons I'm starting freelancing at fiverr :)
Well, I guess it helps with money too, right? Being a solo indie game developer is not easy.
FAQ
Why the concept of one page cost is just $10 while the rulebook with only 5 pages cost $150?
Make a game is more than just "write the rules". The process of make a prototype, balance, change & playtest are really hard because you never know exactly how much times you will need to keep cycling those steps until it's balanced and fun to play. The one sheet paper concept is before all that.
I already have a game concept, could you use it to skip to the 4º step described on this Gig description?
Yes of course! But in this case, I recommend you to send me a message before, to see if the game concept has potential or if we can tweak it to make it better. Also, to see if your concept is too complex for standard pack or too simple for the premium pack, so you dont spend unnecessary money
I'm not sure if It's worth to buy the standard or premium package... How can I ensure you will make a good game?
First of all, I have years of experience in game design and I'm graduated in this area. But if it's not enough, you could start buying the $10 dolar basic package to see the results. And then buy the standard or premium pack ONLY if you like the results. 😁
