I deploy Ruby on Rails applications to AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Render or Heroku set up properly the first time, so you are not paying someone to fix it in three months.

I'm a senior engineer with 8+ years running Rails in production. That means I set up the boring things cheap deployments skip: SSL that auto-renews, a database that gets backed up, background jobs that restart after a reboot, and logs you can actually read when something breaks.

- Nginx and Puma under systemd, environment variables handled securely

- PostgreSQL or MySQL with automated nightly backups

- Free SSL via Let's Encrypt, your domain pointed and working

- Sidekiq or Solid Queue for background jobs

- CI/CD so deploying becomes a git push (Standard and up)

- Monitoring and alerts so you hear about problems first (Premium)

Server access, written setup notes, and a runbook covering how to deploy, restart, roll back and restore.
