Chi sono
Music and illustration are partners in the works of Spanish designer Alvaro Cubero (A Writhing Thought). Working in Madrid, he creates modern, eerily organic, intricate album covers, gig posters and merch designs for clients such as Bones of Minerva, Deriva, Osopardo, Sechem, Soen and Resurrection Fest (a Spanish rock festival with headliners such as Kiss and Slipknot).
Alvaro weaves traditional techniques (pen, ink and graphite) with digital tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator (to embellish with colour, texture and graphic design elements).
