At Falabella in Bangalore, I've worked as a backend engineer on the Rule Engine team, building rule engines, RBAC across services, and settlements and payouts within a microservices setup, working across Java, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Neo4j and GCP. My most substantial recent project is an end-to-end vendor timesheet, approval and invoicing platform — employees submit timesheets, managers approve or send them back, vendors then raise invoices that the system validates against the approved timesheet before HR review and Finance payout/ERP export. I collapsed the original microservices design into a single modular Spring Boot monolith with PostgreSQL and a React + TypeScript frontend, deployed on a GCP Compute Engine VM, with six RBAC-governed roles and a 12-rule validation engine, and shipped an MVP demo to HR. Over my time there I've progressed through three roles.
