Are you looking for a careful fiction editor who will strengthen you without flattening your voice?
I provide proofreading and line editing for novels, short stories, and manuscript chapters. I correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, awkward phrasing, repetition, unclear sentences, inconsistent word choice, and problems with flow. What is the difference between proofreading and line editing?
Proofreading corrects grammar, spelling, punctuation, and minor clarity problems. Line editing goes further by improving sentence flow, word choice, repetition, rhythm, consistency, and readability while preserving your individual voice.
What will I receive after the edit?
You will receive a Microsoft Word document with Track Changes and comments, together with a clean edited version. The Premium package also includes a concise editorial report on recurring issues, voice, and flow.
Will you rewrite my story or change my writing style?
No. My purpose is to strengthen you without replacing your voice. I may suggest alternatives for unclear or awkward passages, but extensive rewriting, ghostwriting, and major developmental restructuring are not included.
Can you edit a complete novel or a manuscript longer than 5,000 words?
Yes. Please send me the total word count and a short sample before ordering. I will review the scope, estimate the delivery time, and prepare a custom offer for longer manuscripts.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers reasonable corrections or clarifications related to the text originally submitted. Newly added chapters or substantially rewritten material are not included and require a separate order or custom offer.
