I am proud to highlight my work as a video editor for Canal Afro, a platform dedicated to promoting Afro-descendant culture, identity, and social impact. During my time collaborating with the channel, I was responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling audiovisual stories that connected with diverse audiences. My role included: Editing cultural and educational programs with precision, ensuring smooth transitions, balanced sound, and professional visual effects. Enhancing interviews and documentaries to highlight voices and perspectives often underrepresented in mainstream media. Creating promotional clips and social media content that captured attention quickly while maintaining the channel’s cultural authenticity. Collaborating with producers and directors to align the final product with the channel’s mission of celebrating Afro heritage and fostering inclusion. Working with Canal Afro allowed me to strengthen my ability to combine technical expertise with cultural sensitivity. Each project demanded not only advanced editing skills but also an understanding of the social and historical context behind the stories. This experience enriched my professional journey, giving me the tools to deliver audiovisual content that is both visually engaging and socially meaningful. With over 20 years of experience in video production and editing, and a B2 level in English, I bring a unique blend of technical mastery and cultural awareness to every project.
