After completing my first professional role, I was scheduled to join EY Spotmentor as a Senior Developer, with my joining date set for 23rd March 2020. However, due to the sudden nationwide COVID-19 lockdown on 22nd March 2020, the opportunity was put on hold and we were confined to working from home. During this uncertain period, I decided to revisit Fiverr, where I had originally created an account in 2017. At that time, I lacked the practical experience and confidence needed to succeed. In 2020, I restarted the account with a renewed focus and stronger technical foundation. I began by offering services in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, gradually taking on small projects and improving my skills through real client work. While working with different web technologies, I discovered Shopify, which proved to be a complete game-changer for my freelancing career. I started specializing in Shopify development, including custom themes, frontend customization, performance optimization, and feature enhancements. As my expertise grew, so did client trust, repeat business, and long-term collaborations. Over time, Fiverr became more than just a freelancing platform—it became the foundation for my specialization in eCommerce and Shopify solutions, eventually leading to larger projects, agency-level work, and the creation of my own brand.
