Do you need my bank or accounting software login?
No. Please never share logins. Send your bank statement and ledger exports (Excel, CSV or PDF).
My bank statement is a PDF. Is that OK?
Yes. I convert it to a spreadsheet first. CSV or Excel exports are quicker to work with if your bank offers them.
What if the difference doesn't reach zero?
I list every unexplained item with its likely cause and ask you to confirm. I never force a balancing figure.
Will you post the entries in my accounting software?
I give you ready-made journal entries. You or your bookkeeper post them, so you stay in control of your books.
Is my data kept confidential?
Yes. I use your files only for your order and delete my copy after delivery unless you ask me to keep it. You can mask account numbers.
