Mobile application Developer and CTO
Evide • Full time
Sep 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 2 mos
As CTO and mobile app developer at Evide, a Kerala-based mobility-tech startup, I design, build and ship the technology behind its products, from GPS hardware integration to mobile apps and web dashboards. What I've built: Real-time GPS tracking backend in Node.js, with a TCP server for GT06 devices, an AIS-140 protocol parser and integration with a third-party tracking API (including retry logic for reliability). Evide School Bus: a complete school bus tracking platform with a Flutter parent app, a Flutter driver and conductor app, a web management dashboard and a super admin panel. It includes live Mapbox maps, push notifications, attendance and a temporary pickup change flow. A Flutter bus stop announcer app, plus internal dashboards and tools that run daily operations. Highlights: Took Evide School Bus from idea to a live school pilot, working solo on the build. Evide School Bus won Manorama Elevate, a Malayala Manorama startup recognition program. Own the full stack: Flutter, Node.js, Supabase, Mapbox, AWS and DigitalOcean hosting, and app store publishing on Google Play and the iOS App Store. I'm available for freelance work in mobile app development, GPS and IoT tracking systems and dashboards.
