Not strictly. Digital headroom is easily managed. Just ensure your file is not clipping (going over 0dB) and that you have removed any Limiter or heavy compression from your master bus so I have room to work.

Please send high-quality WAV or AIFF files (24-bit or 32-bit) at their original sample rate. Avoid MP3s as they lack the data needed for professional high-end processing.
