What I focus on:

Plot and pacing - does the story move well, or does it drag in places? Character consistency - do your characters feel real and stay true to themselves? Emotional impact - did I feel something, or did it leave me cold? Dialogue flow - does the conversation sound natural? Reader confusion - where did I get lost or have questions? Scene effectiveness - did each scene do its job? Story structure - does the overall shape of the story work?

A full reader report on the story as a whole, comments on specific lines and scenes with suggested edits where helpful, honest critique that tells you what works and what doesn't, and all of it from the perspective of a real reader - not a checklist.

I enjoy fantasy, action, adventure, mystery, horror, thriller, and psychological stories - so this is genuinely my kind of material.
