Do I need a Power BI licence?
Power BI Desktop is free and you can open the report immediately. Publishing to the Service for sharing and scheduled refresh needs a Pro licence.
What data sources can you connect?
Excel, CSV, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SharePoint, Google Sheets and most common databases. Tell me your sources and I will confirm.
Will you write the DAX measures?
Yes, on every package. Measures are written, named properly and commented so you or a successor can maintain them later.
Can different teams see different data?
Yes, in Premium. Row-level security restricts each user to their own region, department or client without needing separate reports.
Can it refresh automatically?
Yes, in Premium. I configure the scheduled refresh in the Power BI Service so the report updates on the cadence you choose.
