What's the difference between editing and proofreading?
Proofreaders only look at spelling and grammar. Editors (like me!) will help you get your point across through your writing. We specifically look for confusing sentences and edit them in a way that makes them more clear. The result is a piece of writing that is cleaner and easier to understand!
What kind of edits will you provide?
In addition to providing edits that will improve your sentence structure and grammar, I'll also add substantive comments about your writing's tone, flow, and narrative; I will ask questions that I expect your readers would have and I may recommend moving things around to make them flow better.
