What software do I need to use Aurelyon?
Aurelyon is built in Microsoft Excel and uses macros for certain automated functions. A desktop version of Microsoft Excel that supports macro-enabled (.xlsm) workbooks is recommended.
Is there a limit to the number of assets I can manage?
Aurelyon Core is not sold with an artificial asset limit. The workbook is designed as a reusable Fixed Asset Register that can grow as you add assets and transactions.
Which depreciation methods does Aurelyon support?
Aurelyon supports Straight Line and Reducing Balance depreciation, with configurable rates and useful lives to suit your organisation's requirements.
Can Aurelyon be configured for my business?
Yes. The Configured package includes setup of key areas such as asset types, useful lives, cost centres, locations, regions, financial periods and GL codes based on the information you provide.
Can you transfer my existing Fixed Asset Register into Aurelyon?
Yes. The Migration package includes configuration of Aurelyon and migration of your existing fixed asset data. Please contact me before ordering if your existing register is particularly large or complex.
Does Aurelyon determine the correct accounting treatment for my assets?
No. Aurelyon calculates and reports based on the information and configuration provided. The buyer remains responsible for determining appropriate accounting policies, useful lives, depreciation methods and rates applicable to their organisation.
Can you customise Aurelyon beyond the standard configuration?
