Designed and 3D printed functional tooling and holders for a short educational conveyor belt line with two robotic arms, used to train students in robot and PLC programming. Work included: - Designing holders/trays sized to fit existing pallets, used by the robot for pick-and-place operations with individual cubes - Designing an expandable, modular cube-holder system (base, body, and lid) that can be extended for different cube quantities, with internal lattice/bracing to reduce material use while keeping structural strength - Designing a custom gripper attachment (end-of-arm tool) for the robotic arm - Iterating designs based on fit, tolerances, and functional testing with the actual robot arms Tools used: Onshape (parametric CAD), FDM 3D printing
