Hi, I’m Nenia, and I'm a contemporary poet and essayist exploring disability, sexuality, and feminism through form, voice, and sometimes sheer will. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English, both of which support the foundation of my writing practice. My work has been published in literary journals, such as Lifelines, The Onyx, and The Alden Street Review. Prior to focusing on poetry, I published two novels and a memoir. When not writing, I find a creative outlet in the row-by-row construction of my knitting project.
