FAQ
1.What is Google Play Console closed testing, and why is it important?
Google Play Console closed testing allows you to test your app with a limited number of users before releasing it publicly. This helps you identify and fix bugs, gather feedback, and ensure your app meets user expectations before launch.
2.What do you need from me to get started?
I will need access to your Google Play Console with the necessary permissions to set up the closed testing track. You’ll also need to provide a beta version of your app that’s ready for testing, along with a list of testers if you have one.
3.How many testers can I invite to my closed testing track?
Google allows you to invite as many testers as you need, but for more manageable testing and feedback, it’s generally recommended to start with a smaller, targeted group. I can help you organize and manage this list.
4.Will the app be visible to the public during closed testing?
No, closed testing keeps your app private, meaning only users you specifically invite will have access to download and test the app. It won’t appear publicly on the Google Play Store.
5.How long does the setup process take?
Setting up the closed testing track typically takes X hours/days depending on the complexity of your app and requirements. Once I have access and the required materials, I can provide a more precise timeline.
