I worked as a Quality Assurance tester responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of web and mobile applications. My role involved understanding system requirements, preparing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to improve product quality. Project 1: NIVID Academic Management System (Web & Mobile) I performed end-to-end testing of the NIVID Academic Management System, a platform used by schools to manage academic and administrative activities. I tested multiple modules including Salary Management, Billing, Attendance Sync, Baseline Item Analysis, Group Chat, QR Scanner, Finance Notifier, and Accounting. My responsibilities included writing and executing more than 100 test cases to validate system functionality. I performed functional testing, UI testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing to ensure the application worked correctly after updates. I also tested the NIVID Parent App, School App, and Website to verify cross-platform compatibility and consistent user experience across devices. I identified and documented over 30 defects and reported them in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, severity level, and expected vs. actual results. I worked closely with developers to verify bug fixes and ensure stable releases. Project 2: Venue Reservation System I worked on testing a venue reservation platform developed with a Django backend and PostgreSQL database. The system allows users to search venues, book spaces, and order food services. I tested key features such as venue listing, booking workflows, food ordering, price calculation, and venue management. I also performed API testing using Postman to validate booking and payment workflows. My testing process included functional testing, API validation, and regression testing to ensure the platform worked smoothly and accurately handled user requests.
