How many years of backlog can you clean up?
There is no limit. Your books can be pending from 2023, 2024 or many years earlier. I'll do a complete historical QuickBooks cleanup and bring every year current. Pricing depends on the years and transaction volume involved.
Are you a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor?
Yes. I'm a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and a BS Accounting and Finance graduate with 4 years of experience in historical cleanup and catch up bookkeeping for businesses in the US and Europe.
What do you need from me to start?
Two things: accountant access to your QuickBooks Online and your bank and credit card statements for the years being cleaned up. To invite me, go to Settings, then Manage Users, then Accounting Firms. Work begins once both are received.
My books are a complete mess. Can they still be fixed?
Yes. Messy books are my daily work. I start with a full QuickBooks audit, then clean up, categorize and reconcile each month until everything is correct and matches your bank.
I never recorded anything in QuickBooks. Can you build my books from bank statements?
Yes. Bank statements are enough. I convert them into clean data matched to your running balance, then record and categorize every transaction in QuickBooks Online.
How do you categorize transactions for my business?
I review your statements and business type first, so most transactions are categorized accurately from the start. Anything unclear goes on a short list I send you for confirmation. I never guess on entries that affect your reports.
What is not included in the cleanup?
My service covers bookkeeping only: categorization, bank reconciliation, chart of accounts and financial reports. I do not file tax returns, run payroll or provide tax advice. Your accountant handles filing using the clean books I deliver.
Will my books be ready for tax filing or investors?
Yes. Every historical cleanup ends with fully reconciled accounts plus a P&L and Balance Sheet. Your books will be ready for your accountant, your tax filing or a lender review.
What if my transaction count is higher than the package?
Packages cover the entries listed in each tier. If your volume is higher, message me with your business type and years behind, and I'll send a custom offer with exact pricing before any work starts.
Do you offer monthly bookkeeping after the cleanup?
Yes. Once your catch up is complete, I can manage your monthly bookkeeping so your books stay current and never fall behind again.
