Established and grew the Brad and Abby morning show brand as the lead host of the show, working with the company President and Director of Sales to create the premier morning show brand in the market. Oversee station social media as well as the driving technical force behind modifications to the station websites. Scheduled and attended meetings between air staff, sales, and clients, devising strategies for best presenting their businesses in live endorsement in a way to drive sales and traffic to their company. • Played a key role in station ownership change from LaSalle County Broadcasting to Starved Rock Media in 2020, including implementing a strategic communication plan and vision to help new company succeed during the pandemic. • Created marketing plans to present to regional and national businesses to drive traffic and ensure business outcomes in support of the station’s partners. • Utilized media releases and interviews, ranging from financial advisors and corporate directors to multiple Illinois governors, to craft and broadcast news stories for air. • Developed competitive strategy, improving 99.3 WAJK from a middle-rated station to one leading in listening among all people 25-54 and second among people 18-35. • Assumed music direction, production, imaging, and on-air responsibilities, saving station cluster money, eliminating the need for a coordinator in that role.

Produced a feature piece for Morning Edition with host Matthew McCleskey. Presented a 5-minute story from pitch to air on Metro Connection. Booked and conducted interviews in order to write and record stories under tight deadlines for same-day air. •Produced and voiced several stories which made air, a role atypical for interns at the most listened to station in a Top 5 market nationwide. •Generated, recorded, and produced the 5-minute story for Metro Connection, completing it on time and meeting the standards of one of the biggest stations in the country.
