You have an awesome book. Now you need a blurb/back cover copy/KDP description for it, but how do you tell the whole world about your book in just 150-200 words after writing a 200k-words fantasy epic (or a 90k-words horror novel)? How do you write something so short, and yet so intriguing your potential readers will want to start reading right now?
That's where I come in!
While I can't promise you that even a cat would want to read a book with my blurb on it, I can offer you an intriguing text making your potential readers eagerly click on your sample, and then your own words will do their magic! I've already done it for numerous independent authors, and I can do it for you, too!
What do I need from you?
Check the appropriate questionnaire in the gallery! For novels, a 1-2 page synopsis/outline, plus other relevant information (title, genre, setting, message, POV, tropes, target audience, blurbs you like or your current blurb...). For non-fiction, a thorough summary, TOC and introduction, and other relevant information (audience, benefits...).
What will you get?

Can you write a blurb for any kind of book, fiction or non-fiction?
My favorites are horrors and thrillers, but I can write blurbs for most genres of fiction (and non-fiction). I don't write blurbs for porn, erotica, or anything that promotes hate/discrimination/violence. I don't have enough experience with poetry or low content books. I don't even read romance.
Will you read my manuscript? Do I need to send it to you?
I don't read manuscripts, for several reasons. I will read your synopsis/outline, answers to some questions (check the questionnaire in the gig gallery, please, just not on the app), introduction and table of contents (for non-fiction), and other information you feel is relevant. But not manuscript.
I'm not sure what to tell you, do you have a questionnaire?
Yes, one for novels, another for non-fiction, and one for story collections. It's in the gig gallery (which works on the desktop version, but not on the phone app). If you can't find it, ask, and I'll be happy to send it to you!
Do you write blurbs based on a specific formula/template?
No, I'm not good with formulaic blurbs. If a formulaic blurb is what your target audience would respond best to, I'm not a good match for your needs.
Do you offer revisions if I'm not completely happy with the blurb?
Yes, you get three free revisions per order (small changes to the blurb(s) I sent, not rewriting from scratch, not adding the info you didn't provide when placing the order, and not doing additional work that's outside the scope of this gig).
Do you work with LGBTQIA+ authors and books with LGBTQIA+ themes?
Very much YES! And happily! Unless the LGBTQIA+ characters are used for fetishization purposes.
Do you also write synopses?
No, I don't write synopses. Actually, I need you to send me the synopsis of your book in order to write the blurb/back cover copy/description.
Do you also write taglines?
Yes, you get a tagline with every blurb.
Can you write a shorter blurb? 100 words, not 200?
Sure! I can write a blurb of 100 words, or even shorter, if that's what's best for your book.
