I am a bioinformatics and AI investigator who has practical experience in working with genomic information, machine learning, and research of neurodegenerative diseases. I am also involved in polygenic risk score (PRS) models, deep learning (MLP/DNN) and analysis of big-data projects like ADNI, UK Biobank and Taiwan Biobank.
The published work on which I have worked lays in the field of evolutionary and structural study of disease related genes, in particular the UCHL1 gene in Parkinson disease where I studied intragenic epistasis, protein evolution, and 3D structure functional relations.
