Leading a department of ~ 90 IT professionals—spread across multiple projects, disciplines and supported by a dedicated team of Group and Team Leads—came with both complexity and opportunity. It was a space where delivery, development, and people leadership constantly intersected. Rather than rely solely on traditional leadership approaches, coaching became a natural thread built into day-to-day work. The goal wasn’t just performance—it was also clarity, growth, and ownership at every level. It was a journey of shifting habits, encouraging reflection, and building trust, even beyond the department. Across the organization, there was a growing desire to cultivate a more mature Coaching Culture, especially within leadership and management teams. The experience in Centric Mentorship Program offered yet another dimension.
