Ho un modello unico di kalimba (piano a pollice) chiamato Sansula, prodotto da Hokema in Germania. È accordata in La minore e ha tasti incredibilmente belli, sostenuti e molto puri nel suono (guarda gli esempi nel mio profilo). L'accordatura è fissa. Può essere suonata anche con un effetto vibrato, sollevando e abbassando la pelle del tamburo su una superficie piatta, che crea un effetto molto bello.
Questo è uno strumento perfetto per creare musica eterea per meditazione, musica ambient drone, colonne sonore testurizzate, anime o videogiochi, o semplicemente per accompagnare una melodia con un colore musicale bello (limitato alle note sotto).
Accordatura (A0 = nota più bassa, A1 = un'ottava sopra, ecc.)
A0 A1 B1 C1 C2 E1 E2 F1
Posso anche possedere una kalimba Hokema B17, che è quasi identica, ma contiene l'intera scala di C in oltre 3 ottave! Il tono è simile, ma ha un po' meno sustain e carattere, e non può fare vibrato.

I primarily work in writing music for film and commercial projects, as well as music for production libraries (ranging from pop to folk to classical and more). I always play bass on all of my projects. I am currently on contract for the video game Fortnite, by Epic Games, to edit audio of popular songs for use in the Jam Stage mode.
I studied bass with Matthew Garrison in Boston and NYC (son of Jimmy Garrison, John Coltrane's bassist), as well as a number of other world-class bass instructors at Berkee.

Sì, ma richiede di svitare manualmente una barra di blocco e poi accordarle tutte con precisione. Non l'ho mai provato e sono un po' nervoso all'idea di non riuscire più a tornare all'accordatura originale.
