Esperienza lavorativa

Head Robotics Designer & guide

In 2011 I started collaborating with this technology company to design and teach courses that made art and the language of aesthetics available to students that were primarily focusing on engineering and coding. From there the collaboration became a full-time endeavor when I joined the staff as a consultant that handled staff training, the robot and curriculum design and administering courses to participants of all ages.

After returning from Washington D.C. where I had completed my studies and worked in my area of sculpture for a year I set up my own artist studio in Jamaica.

Edna Manley College for the Visual & Performing Arts(Assistant Director of School of Art)

Edna Manley College for the Visual & Performing Arts • Full time

Sep 2005 - Aug 20082 yrs 11 mos

I had worked as an adjunct Lecturer at this college, which is the most established in the English speaking Caribbean, from 2002 until I was asked to come on full-time as the Assistant Director. This entailed me running the day to day business of the School of Visual Art, continuing to teach Sculpture / Design courses, representing and replacing the Director when she was away or over scheduled. I also got to put my Architectural experience to use as I was made the head of the committee that oversaw the design of the college campus.
