Are you in need of an objective eye to seek out those pesky typos and grammatical mishaps? I'm excited to help you ensure your manuscript or webpage glows.
My rate is $5 per 1000 words of any total length, be it 500 words or 150,000.
Delivery times:
- up to 5000 words = 5 days
- up to 25,000 words = 14 days
- up to 100,000 words = 30 days
- over 100,000 words = 45 days
Genres I love to tackle:
- fantasy, sci-fi, horror and all related subgenres

- working with early, unedited drafts

Will you proofread my 115,000 word Romance novel for $5?
No. I will proofread content for $5 PER 1000 WORDS. Nor will I proofread romance. See my Gig description above for the genres I’m not interested spending time proofing.
It’s amazing that you can guarantee a 5-day delivery time for my 100,000 word manuscript. When do you sleep?
I need to sleep. Please read the Gig description above for delivery times. Believe me, you want me to be thorough in catching the typo gremlins lurking among the weeds. And “thorough” can’t be done overnight.
Will you proofread my novel/story/website that was written in XYZ language and translated by Google Translator?
ONLY IF the content has been edited by a human first. Online translators get so much wrong that the job would fall outside the scope of proofreading. Therefore, translated content MUST be translated by a human fluent in both languages OR have been edited by an English-speaking human first.
I don’t use Microsoft Word. Can I still hire you?
Yes! Let’s use Google Docs instead.
How do I know you’re the proofreader for me?
You won’t know until you try. I have worked with countless writers over the years, all unique in writing style, level of skill, and confidence. I will do my best to be honest AND constructive, and always respectful and professional.
How do I know my story/novel/website is ready for a proofreader?
I will ask to look over your entire manuscript or web content file and give you an honest assessment of what level of editing your content needs. If I feel it’s ready for proofreading, I will happily take on the job.
