The Way of Wrath is an ambitious story-driven tactical RPG developed by only two creators, where I served as Art Director, Concept Artist, and 3D Modeler, owning the project’s complete visual identity from first idea to final in-engine implementation. From the very beginning, I defined the art direction and visual language of the game - a harsh prehistoric world shaped by survival, spiritual belief, and tribal conflict. I established the core aesthetic, mood, color palette, material rules, and stylistic guidelines that unified characters, environments, props, animation, and effects into a single cohesive vision. As a concept artist, I designed the world from the ground up: tribes, characters, creatures, weapons, ritual sites, settlements, and large-scale environments. Every design was created with both narrative meaning and gameplay readability in mind, ensuring strong silhouettes, cultural identity, and tactical clarity. As a 3D modeler and world builder, I translated concepts directly into production-ready assets. I created characters, environments, props, and modular kits, handling modeling, optimization, texturing, materials, and in-engine setup. All assets were built for real-time performance while maintaining a cinematic, handcrafted look. I also played a key role in animation and technical implementation, integrating models into the engine, setting up materials and shaders, and building efficient asset pipelines suitable for a small team. My work ensured that visuals were not only beautiful but also deeply integrated with gameplay systems. The Way of Wrath demonstrates my ability to act as a full-spectrum art director-combining high-level vision with hands-on execution - delivering AAA-quality visuals within the constraints of an indie production.

Geno - Animated short film

GENO is an award-winning animated short film written and directed by Dato Kiknavelidze, where I served as Director, Art Director, Concept Artist, and Lead Visual Artist and 3d animator. overseeing the project’s complete creative and visual execution from concept to final frame. From the earliest stage, I defined the core artistic vision and emotional tone of GENO - a cinematic, atmospheric story driven by visual storytelling, symbolism, and mood rather than exposition. I established the film’s visual language, including composition rules, lighting direction, color palettes, and material style, ensuring a strong, unified identity throughout the entire film. As Concept Artist, I designed all key visual elements: characters, environments, props, and narrative moments. Every design choice was crafted to support the film’s themes and emotional arc, using shape language, contrast, and visual rhythm to guide the viewer’s experience. As Lead 3D Artist, I translated concepts into production-ready assets, handling modeling, look development, texturing, and scene assembly. I closely controlled lighting, camera movement, and visual pacing to achieve a cinematic result comparable to high-end studio animation. GENO was produced under limited resources, requiring a director who could also execute at a technical and artistic level. My role combined high-level creative leadership with hands-on production, pipeline development, and final visual polish. The film received multiple international awards and festival selections, including major recognition at global animation festivals, establishing GENO as a visually distinctive and emotionally powerful animated work.
