Are the government city/county permit application fees included in your gig price?
No. All municipal application, filing, plan check, and impact fees must be paid directly to the local building department by the property owner or contractor. My fee covers the administrative expediting, documentation management, and tracking services only
Can you guarantee that my building permit will be approved by a specific date?
No, because final approval rests entirely with government plan checkers. However, I guarantee that your application will be submitted completely, correctly, and tracked aggressively. My service minimizes bureaucratic back-and-forth, drastically slicing down the standard city approval timeline.
What documents do I need to provide to get started?
At minimum, you must provide the exact property address/parcel number, architectural blueprints, structural plans (if applicable), and a signed owner authorization form allowing me to act as your agent. I will review your files during our initial intake.
What happens if the city issues corrections or "redlines" on my plans?
Getting plan corrections is a standard part of the municipal review process. If the city issues redlines, I will clearly translate the plan checker’s remarks and coordinate directly with your architect or engineer so they can update the technical drawings for a quick resubmission.
Do you handle commercial projects or only residential?
I handle both. My services cover residential scopes (ADUs, home additions, solar, structural remodels) as well as commercial scopes (retail spaces, office build-outs, restaurants, change of occupancy, and local signage permits
