A client had a finished website built in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. My job was to get it live and make everything on it reach their CRM. I set up a private repository with automatic deployment, then the domain, SSL and redirects, keeping every change in the source files rather than the built output. Anything edited in the built folder disappears the next time the site is regenerated. I configured Google Workspace email, domain authentication and the DNS records GoHighLevel needs in order to send. Both senders had to share a single SPF record, because a domain can only carry one. The lead form was mapped into GoHighLevel with contact details, UTM fields, referrer and landing page, then tagging, pipeline placement, an internal alert and a confirmation email. UTM capture is the part most setups miss: the tags exist only in the address of the first page a visitor lands on, so they have to be carried through the journey or the form arrives with no attribution at all. I embedded the booking calendar, connected Google Calendar and Meet, and built the confirmation, reminder, reschedule, cancellation and no-show workflows around it. Then GTM, GA4 conversion tracking and a cookie consent banner. I tested lead submissions and booking changes end to end, verified deployment by pushing a repository update, and handed over client-owned accounts, admin access and a written note explaining how the pieces connect.

I was brought in to fix three broken workflows in a dental practice's GoHighLevel account. Missed-call text-back had stopped firing after a second phone number was added. New-patient enquiries were staying in the New Lead stage even after calls had been logged against them. Appointment reminders were going out twice to the same patient. I traced each fault to the trigger and workflow settings responsible rather than rebuilding around them. Text-back was restored across both numbers. The pipeline was corrected so a logged call advanced the opportunity to the right stage. Reminders were reduced to the single 24-hour notification the practice had intended. I handed over a short written explanation of what each fault was and what I changed, so the team could recognise the same symptoms if they returned. Short diagnostic jobs like this are where most GoHighLevel accounts fail in practice. The build is sound, but a change elsewhere quietly breaks a trigger, and nobody notices until the enquiries stop arriving.

Working with David was such a great experience. He was patient with my ideas, listened carefully to my feedback, and really took the time to understand the story behind the book. I especially appreciated how he went beyond the basic funnel by suggesting ways to make the experience more personal for readers....
