I am a Civil Engineer with over 8 years of practical on-site experience in residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects. I have been actively involved in executing and managing key construction activities including excavation, RCC work, drainage systems, retaining structures, and finishing works. My core expertise lies in quantity takeoff, BOQ preparation, and construction cost estimation from drawings and site data. I have successfully prepared detailed BOQs for various projects including basement excavation, storm water drainage systems, retaining walls, and structural components. I am experienced in calculating excavation volumes (cut and fill), disposal quantities, and identifying excavation zones based on levels and drawings. I have strong knowledge of reinforcement quantity calculation (BBS), concrete estimation, and material takeoff for different construction elements. I have also worked on storm drainage projects involving RCP pipes, manholes, and inlets, ensuring accurate quantity estimation and execution support. In addition to estimation work, I have hands-on experience in site supervision, labor management, and ensuring quality control as per engineering standards. My practical exposure helps me provide realistic and accurate quantities that match actual site conditions. I use tools like Excel and AutoCAD to prepare well-structured and easy-to-understand BOQ reports with proper summaries and item breakdowns.
