Here you go: building foundational language skills from scratch. The session required a lot of translation to ensure understanding, which is expected at this level. I used translation as a bridge while gradually introducing vocabulary and simple structures. To avoid over-reliance on it, I incorporated repetition and simple examples to reinforce new words. Overall, the student was engaged and making steady progress.
