What do you need from me to get started?
The more information you can provide, the better. Helpful items include PCB dimensions, STEP files, component dimensions, connector locations, mounting requirements, sketches, or photos. If you only have an idea, that's okay too—send me a message and we can discuss the best approach.
What is considered a "custom feature"?
A custom feature is any unique design element added to the enclosure, such as connector cutouts, mounting bosses, ventilation, button openings, display windows, cable exits, snap fits, or other functional geometry. If you're unsure which package your project fits, feel free to message me before orde
What formats will I receive?
Every order includes printable STL files, a STEP file for compatibility with most CAD software, and the native Fusion 360 design file. Technical drawings are included with the Premium package or available as an add-on.
Can you design around my PCB or electronics?
Yes. I can design enclosures around custom PCBs, Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards, batteries, sensors, switches, displays, and other electronic components. Providing accurate dimensions or CAD models will help ensure the best fit.
How accurate will the fit be?
I design using the dimensions and CAD models you provide. When accurate measurements or STEP files are available, the enclosure will be designed to match those specifications. If measurements are estimated or components change during development, additional revisions may be needed to refine the fit.
Do you also manufacture or 3D print the enclosre?
This gig is for CAD design only. If you need your enclosure manufactured or 3D printed, let me know and I can recommend the best production method or connect you with a trusted manufacturing partner.
Can you modify an existing enclosure?
Yes. Whether you need changes to an existing design or a completely new enclosure created from scratch, I can help. If you're unsure which package fits your project, send me a message before ordering.
I don't have a PCB yet. Can you still help?
Yes. I can design around development boards, off-the-shelf components, or early prototypes. If your PCB isn't finished yet, we can discuss the best approach before you place an order.
