Publit Blog needed a newsletter and reading experience that felt more connected, purposeful, and enjoyable. Its content needed a clearer structure so readers could easily discover a story, move through the page, and decide what to explore next without feeling overwhelmed. I approached the project from the reader's perspective, mapping how someone would find a story, browse the newsletter, and choose their next read. I then built a clean Ghost CMS structure that gave headlines, featured stories, supporting information, and calls to action their own visual space without crowding the layout. I refined the typography, spacing, section hierarchy, and responsive behavior so the experience stays consistent across devices. I also built the structure with future publishing in mind, so consistency is easy to maintain as new content is added. Publit Blog now has a more polished publishing environment with a stronger editorial identity. Tablehopper, a well loved San Francisco food and hospitality publication, needed a newsletter that felt exciting from the moment a reader opened the email. Their content (restaurant updates, food stories, recommendations, and local discoveries) was rich, but it needed a structure that put the most interesting information first while staying easy to scan and browse. Using Ghost CMS, I refined the editorial layout and organized the newsletter around clear content priorities, so the most compelling stories lead and everything else is easy to find. I improved the typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy to give each story room to breathe, and made sure the design works smoothly on both mobile and desktop. Tablehopper now has a lively, well organized newsletter that makes food and hospitality content easier to discover and more enjoyable to read on any device. The redesign also gives the publication a stronger, more recognizable digital presence and a reading experience subscribers can look forward to.
