Founded CreateThink Enterprise, originally established as a comic production studio before expanding into a multidisciplinary creative company specializing in animation, comics, storyboarding, concept art, illustration, visual development, and digital content production. As Founder and Creative Director, I led the company's creative vision, business strategy, project management, and client relationships while overseeing production from concept to final delivery. Built the company from the ground up, developing a strong portfolio of commercial and original intellectual property (IP) projects. Managed multidisciplinary teams, coordinated production pipelines, maintained quality standards, and ensured projects were delivered on time and within client expectations. Worked closely with writers, designers, animators, marketing teams, and stakeholders to transform ideas into engaging visual content for advertising, entertainment, and educational purposes. Successfully delivered creative projects for well-known brands and organizations, including Honda, Dugro, Nippon Paint, Kia Motors, and MIECC, producing storyboards, illustrations, promotional artwork, animation, and branded visual content tailored to each client's communication objectives. Alongside commercial work, I directed the creation of original comic and animation IPs, focusing on storytelling, concept development, and audience engagement. These projects strengthened the company's creative capabilities and opened opportunities for funding, competitions, and industry collaborations. A major milestone was securing the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Digital Content Grant in 2023, awarded to develop an original digital comic project that showcased Malaysian creativity and digital storytelling. As the Art Director and Concept Artist at Blindspot Studio, I was responsible for defining the visual direction and creative identity of multiple animation projects from concept development to production. My role involved creating high-quality concept art, character designs, environment designs, props, color keys, and visual development materials while ensuring artistic consistency across the entire production pipeline. One of my key achievements was leading the visual development for Food Dojo, where I established the project's artistic style and produced the core concept artwork used for pitching and project development. My creative contributions played a significant role in helping the project successfully secure the MDEC Animation Grant, providing funding that enabled the production to move forward. I worked closely with producers, writers, and the animation team to transform story concepts into compelling visual presentations that met both creative and commercial objectives. I also contributed to the successful development of Alif & Sofia, serving as the project's Concept Artist and supporting the overall artistic direction. Through close collaboration with the production team, I developed character concepts, environment designs, and visual assets that strengthened the series' identity. The project successfully secured a national television broadcast slot on TV3 (Media Prima), marking an important milestone for the studio and expanding the series' audience across Malaysia. Beyond project-specific contributions, I supervised and mentored artists throughout production, providing creative feedback, maintaining quality control, and ensuring all artwork met production standards and deadlines.
