Sharetribe marketplace developer for KANUU, a Swiss rental marketplace where private and commercial providers rent out temporary parking spaces by the hour or day (kanuu.ch). Hired after the founders' first attempt went live with gaps, to deliver a professional, launch-ready Sharetribe build on the code-customization plan with full API access and custom React frontend work. What I delivered: a custom split view of map and listings with the search placed directly in the homepage hero; branded Mapbox pins in the client's colours; a deliberate location offset so exact addresses stay private until a booking is paid and confirmed; time-package availability and booking logic that prevents overbooking; a four-step provider onboarding wizard (spaces, details, availability, review); a reporting desk for occupied reserved spots with photo upload and refund review; full branding across the platform - typography, colours, listing cards, mobile-first layout; Stripe Connect with automatic provider KYC onboarding, commission handling and delayed daily payouts; complete testing of the booking and payment flow with real payments and real payouts, not just sandbox checks; and final go-live deployment to the client's own domain. How I worked: four milestones, each with its own deliverables and approval gate, so the founders reviewed and approved every stage before we moved on. Transparent risk notes up front - overbooking risk, map provider limits, mobile performance - updates in the client's language (German), and post-launch iteration and support after go-live: fixes, refinements and help with provider onboarding and acquisition. Stack: Sharetribe (current platform, formerly Flex), custom React, Mapbox, Stripe Connect.

Sharetribe marketplace developer for QIRRA, a German-language rental marketplace where people rent out everyday items - tools, machines and equipment, trailers, event gear, sport and hobby items - by the hour or day. What I delivered: a complete multi-category Sharetribe rental build with a category-filtered marketplace grid (auto & motorrad, elektronik & technik, werkstatt & werkzeug, maschinen & geräte, haus & garten, mode & beauty, sport, events, familie & kind); keyword search with a live results map showing price markers; a provider listing-creation flow with images, location and hourly or daily pricing; a provider and renter dashboard area (my listings, my bookings, favourites); search filters by listing type, category, keywords and location, with newest-first sorting; promotional banner slots for featured offers; listing detail pages with booking requests; and full German-language copy and branding - logo, colour system, typography - across desktop and mobile. Outcome: a live marketplace where providers self-serve their rental listings and renters discover, compare and book nearby, with map-based search as the core discovery experience. Delivered and supported in German for a German-speaking client team.
