My SEO journey began in March 2019, when I joined Steeeze — a passionate project led by a visionary entrepreneur who had spent nearly eight decades seeing the world change, and believed deeply that the internet was the future of every business. He was 78 years old — and more hungry to grow than most people half his age. While others his age were slowing down, he was asking me questions about Google algorithms, backlinks, and keyword rankings. That energy was contagious. It pushed me to give everything I had. Over the course of 4 years and 4 months, I built Steeeze's entire SEO foundation from the ground up. I handled keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content strategy, and link building — watching the site grow from near-invisible to a consistently ranking, traffic-generating platform. Working closely with the founder taught me something no course ever could — that real digital marketing is about people, not just rankings. Every keyword we targeted had a human behind it. Every click mattered. Every improvement was a victory we celebrated together. Sadly, in 2023, the founder passed away at the age of 78. It was a profound loss — not just of a client, but of a mentor who showed me what it means to never stop learning, never stop building, and never stop believing in growth. That experience is why I founded Digital Marketing Mark. Because I saw firsthand what the right digital strategy can do for a business — and I carry that dedication into every project I take on today.
